Survivor Rules
RULES
SUBJECT TO CHANGE AS WE IMPLEMENT SOFTWARE
1. Entry: Your participation in the Survivor game constitutes
your acknowledgement and agreement that you have read, understand,
and
agree to comply with our disclaimers and the rules listed below.
2. Game of Skill: The object of the Survivor game is to pick
the winner of only one game each week. NO POINT SPREAD & YOU CAN’T
PICK THE SAME TEAM TWICE. You may pick the team that you believe
has the best chance of winning its game that week.
3. Elimination: Once you have incorrectly selected a team to
win in a certain week, you are out of the competition. IF THE
TEAM
YOU PICK WINS YOU STAY IN if your team loses or ties you are
eliminated. The object here is to “Survive” as long
as you can. THE LAST MAN, WOMAN, OR TEAM STANDING WINS!!!
4. Duration: The Survivor game kickoffs in Week One of the NFL
Regular Season and ends after there is only one remaining contestant
(Through
Super Bowl if necessary) ONCE THE PLAYOFFS BEGIN, ANY REMAINIG
PLAYERS CAN BEGIN RE-USING TEAMS AND CHOOSE ANY TEAM THEY WANT
BUT WILL BE
ASKED TO PICK AGAINST THE SPREAD ONCE THE POSTSEASON BEGINS.
Survivor is a game of skill in which participants use their knowledge
and
analysis of professional football & the NFL schedule and a little
luck to map out their quest to be the sole “Survivor”.
5. Multiple Losers: In the event that multiple FINAL entrants
all lose in a given week, those entrants will move to the next
week until
the tie is broken. For instance, if the final four entrants all
pick incorrectly in Week 15, all four get to pick again in Week
16 (CAN
NOT USE THAT TEAM AGAIN, HOWEVER). If only one entrant selects
correctly in Week 15, then that entrant wins the competition.
You get the picture?
6. Tiebreakers: In the event that multiple entrants make it through
the season and playoffs, those entrants will share first place
equally.
7. Schedule: All NFL weekly games are used in pool. However,
once a game kicks off from the pool. AllSportsPolls.com reserves
